About Fitzy (aka The Boss)

About Me

I served with the 3rd Battalion parachute regiment for 10 years. During this time I completed 2 tours of Northern Ireland, was part of the United Nations Peace Keeping Force in Cyprus and was involved with the Falklands conflict in 1982. I was an instructor for 2 years which involved instructing trainee recruits.

On leaving the forces I have continued with my interest in fitness by taking part in Marathons, Triathlons, and Ironman Triathlons, to name but a few of my 'adventures'.

In 2008 I was part of the Tri Team GB age groupers racing in Canada World Championships.

I use my extensive training experience to train and help others to achieve their goals; be it 5 or 10k races, half and full marathons, pre-training for Her Majesty's Forces or weight loss and general well being.

I am qualified with a YMCA certification as a Fitness Instructor and circuit training which I have held since 2007.

I was very priviledged to be a torchbearer on 20th July 2012 for the 2012 Olympic Games. I was nominated and chosen for my charity work and it being the 30th anniversary of the Falklands.

You will soon find out that if you train with 'Fitzy' there is never a dull moment and you will enjoy your journey to achieving your goals.
